God i love morons who play warriors.
Its not just warriors, its assasins too, I had a couple in AB last night while playing cripshot, they come at you with their 6 hit combos and expect you to stand there and take the damage, then when you blind them, poison them, hunters shot them and crip them you get called a "coward". Pardon me for not letting you kill me, i'm so sorry. Running and staying alive is part of the game.

My interpretation is that this thread is a counter argument to the idea that kiting is somehow cowardly or dishonorable.

Kiting is a vital part of a PvP monk. Dont be upset because of the i-fight-with-honor-and-die-even-tho-i-had-healing-breeze people, just kite.

I didn't know an argument like that existed anywhere outside of RA. Yes, newer or dumber players there will bitch about people who kite. This is not new. This thread is like saying "guys, check it out, if you go outside it's really bright".

i was warming up in RA one day, and 3 warriors decide to chase me across the map. obviously, i did what i was supposed to do: run, cast, run, cast.... until i realized that none of them had speed boosts (or were unwilling to use them). then i just ran in a circle until my teammates took them out.

moral of the story is: bring a run buff, damn it!

You obviously must learn how to understand what people are trying to say.

The OP pwns whammo's by kiting, the whammo's whine, and the OP 'whines' because they whine.

jeah very usefull xD,
Btw Kiting is just to stay alive the reason why the warriors or thumpers generally hunt you down is to add some presure, because monk's are useless if they need to run to stay alive and their time to heal others will diminish.
it's also in the group's best intrest to "pressure" enemy monks.

Ok, yes we all know kiting is bar none the best damage mitigation vs melee or PBAoE. Cant touch me, cant kill me.
Ok, yes we all know RA/AB has plenty of ....unknowledgable/inexperienced players who play by some imaginary rules that anything I do to kill them or ruin their perfect omgwtfpwnage in 3hits build.
Kiting is running. Running with speed boosts is just running faster.
The only time I find running inexcusable is if your griefing. If you cannot rez your team or have an avenue to victory then its just being a prick. However, running to regen E for one final volley to unload is understandable.
Is the point of this that newbs and noobs rant about kiting?!? As true as that is this post is not going to educate them. Forum readers tend to actually have a little brains.
BTW...armor < 80AL means you kite w/half a brain.

This isn't the rant forum. In fact, we don't even have one of those here on Guru....

Keep your rants to yourself please.
